famous for nothing

SHIRT:NEW LOOK INSPIRE DRESS:H&M SHOES:EVANS

I've posted several variations of this before but i think it's a testament to the shirts wearability that it features on BMB so much. I don't post every outfit i wear and i don't even post all the ones i really like because of time restraints or not having my camera or whatever. I guess what I'm saying is i don't mind kinda repeating myself once in a while and i hope all my lovely readers don't mind either :)

Part of my current inspo is Debbie from The Wild Thornberry's and Darlene from Rosanne. I seem to be constantly attracted to wearing plaid and having an attitude problem...
I'm also wearing my hair in plaits every night and worshipping dry shampoo for its volumising wonderfulness.
Must. Resist. Urge. To. Perm.

Pony Up

SHIRT:NEW LOOK SKIRT AND VEST:H&M TIGHTS:TESCO

I have spent the last week solidly wearing PJ's or joggers and tees. It's the curse of essay writing, you don't need to get dressed for it.
Today though, i actually had to get dressed, for my sanity.
I know this is basic and the photo quality isn't great but i love this shirt and i wanted to post so, yeah. Justification: done.

Due to money but also feeling quite uninspired i have bought barely any clothes recently. Has anyone seen anything amazing (and preferably cheap) anywhere? I just feel kinda bored by what i see. It's time like this when i resent being bigger because there's tons of stuff in straight sizes i like, but nothing my size is screaming at me.
Oh BOOO HOOOO!
Guess i should be grateful really, less clothes = less debt :)

Layers

LEGGINGS:NEW LOOK SHIRT&SOCKS:TESCO DRESS/LONG TOP:H&M BELT:EVANS NECKLACE:GIFT

So yesterday, for the first time in what seems like forever i consciously layered up. It was grey and wet out and i was spending my night in with a lovely friend so i guess comfort was the name of the game. I just realised; my clolour choices pretty much perfectly matched the weather!
Now it seems to me that everyone in England has had a proper little complain about this summer and how "we haven't really had one". Now we might not have had weeks of scorching heat waves but i for one am thankful for that! And the weather hasn't been bad at all. It's been humid as fuck for months (i won't get into my hatred for humidity...) the temps. have been warm and we've had some lovely clear days. I was actually cold last night, i'd forgotten what that felt like!
Weather rant over, this outfit and my reasons for wearing made me realise how much i'm looking forward to Autumn/Winter and wearing 4 layers and boots and thick fabric, i'm very excited : )

Anyone else looking forward to it as much as me? Help me out here people, i'm a bit worried i might be the only one!

OOTD: Maxi

I forgot out planet revolved around a sun until yesterday, when for a brief few hours it decided to shine.
This seemed like the perfect excuse to take some photos of what i was wearing so here they are!

DRESS:ASOS CURVE SHIRT:TESCO SUNGLASSES:PRIMARK

So it was sunny but i had nowhere to go, hence the trés grungy plaid shirt over maxi dress posing in neglected back garden look.
I don't know if i mentioned it on here, but i got my hair did. Well, i dyed it myself with two packets of bleach in the bathroom, i got bored and this is the outcome.

Every single bit of this outfit was a bargain, the dress was bought on sale for under £20, the shirt is from the men's section in Tesco and was £14 and the sunnies were £1. Can't go wrong.
I spent a lot of time in this dress last summer because it's such a cool fabric (as in not too hot) and it's really easy to wear.
Downside is; the dress is a tad see through : /
The shirt is 2 sizes too big for me and softer than a baby sheep, that's all there is to it. It's amazing.

I'm now off to Bristol for the weekend for a friend's birthday. Binge drinking and dancing is in order, i can't wait.
I've got lots of things i want to post about next week and i hoping i can do one a day, lovely : )

Have a beautiful weekend lovelies ♥

OOTD: Plaid

J'AIME DES CHEMISES DE PLAID
My French is pretty bad so excuse me if that actually says "please can i touch your teapot" or something.

After work today i popped into town to exchange some boots at Evans. I won't go into much detail on the subject as I'm so in love with the pair of beauties i got I'll be posting specifically on them very soon.
I don't quite know why i feel the need to do these little intros and background "today i..." stories in OOTD posts, I'm guessing it's because otherwise the whole thing would be a bit soul less, just straight up pictures of clothes, cold, boring and not very good.
And we can't be having that now, can we?

LONG BLACK T-SHIRT:DOROTHY PERKINS PLAID SHIRT & JEGGINGS:NEW LOOK INSPIRE SHOES:EVANS NECKLACE:VARIOUS PLACES (PUT TOGETHER BY ME)

This is my favourite plaid shirt, it's soft, light, fits great, warm in the cold, cool in the warm, it's the bomb. I think it became my favourite because it's similar fabric to one i used to have that was my dads (it was baby blue plaid, horn buttons, men's cut, beautiful) that unfortunately went out at the elbows beyond repair.
I'd forgotten how much i love acid wash until today, i think it's very punk rock and i must acquire more acid wash items.

This is a pretty basic ensemble really. But comf. as hell, easy to wear and not to shabby in my personal opinion : )

That's all on clothes for now.
But i do have to add (on a non fashion related note) that i just finished reading To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee and I'm so utterly blown away by it that I'm currently convinced all my kids will be named after characters.

Peace & Love.
