Lady

DRESS:ASDA BELT:MARKET STALL SHOES:PRIMARK

Random Story: Got this dress mad cheap ages ago when i popped into an Asda in Bristol to buy pasta. It was like £4 or something.
The seams have ripped and been repaired (by me, skillzzz!) but whatever, £4, i shall not complain!

My hair has gotten so freakin long man!

Other notes about this post:
It proves a point i made HERE. That i have no set style aesthetic. Last OOTD was all grunge and boots and 90's hair. Today i look like a 1940's Italian Mamma minus some seamed stockings and a sensible heel.

Beauty Post: Holographic

You've probably gotten the general idea of just how much of a glitter freak i am by now, if you've been with me for a while :)
But this is whole other universe.
It's glitter, it's rainbows, it's freakin love in a bottle.

Even the girl on the till at H&M was all "Where did you find this?? It's amazing"
I kinda just had to be all Monica Geller-Bing on her and say "I KNOW!" because i genuinely had a blackout. All i remember is picking it up and thinking "I'm buying this." No clue where in the shop i was or how long i had stared at it or anything.

I think you need a good couple of layers to make the H&M one really work its magic and to be honest you need several of the Barry M. But layer the latter over the H&M and boy do you get a party!!

Thoughts on glitter nail varnish? Share the musings people!!
My only issue: removal. Tips would be greatly appreciated :)

Milk It

TOP:DOROTHY PERKINS SKIRT:H&M LEGGINGS&CARDI:PRIMARK BOOTS:DR MARTENS

Well this morning it was super hot and then just now it rained like typhoon season and got cold so my summer-y sleeveless OOTD turned into a winter one quicker than you can say "Fucking Weather".
For the record, it is now boiling hot again!

I'm off to see Brave this evening so i didn't backcomb my hair as much as i wanted to, i don't want to obscure anyones view y'know!

I achieve this 90's teenager look by sleeping with braids in and using a lot of cheap hairspray, it's my favourite :)

There's so much going on in the next two weeks i'm gonna be mad busy and probably without Internet until the 20th of September.
So basically this week & next week i'm gonna spam you guys as much as possible and then things might be sporadic whilst i move into my new place and have to bum Internet from coffee shops/libraries etc

11 things

The beautiful Sarah from Love your Lumps (Click the damn link! Please!) tagged me in one of her recent posts.
It's one of those things where you say stuff about you and write some questions and tag the people who you want answers from.
And in theory, if you're not supaa lazy like me, it's a great way to get to know followers whilst giving insight into your self.
But like i said.
I'm lazy.
So what I do is answer the questions & then openly encourage all of you to post comments with your thoughts/replies/hate mail.

Thanks to Sarah for the taggage. Hope these answers are satisfactory! :)

If you could change one thing in you life what would it be?
I'd like to not have to panic about money. Not just my own but my family's as well. But I think most people feel that way.

To be honest though, i'm pretty damn privileged so i'm not gonna bitch and moan.

What 3 things would you take on a desert island?
I'm going to guess that there is a source of drinkable water and some kind of food so my answer is based on that. I'm also not sticking to the boundaries of what is actually possible.
ipod with unlimited battery life
a unicorn, so i can ride around my island on it, naked apart from my long hair and sea shell jewellery
shit loads of books

What's you Big Dream?
I'm not one of those people who made a choice at age 4 and half to be a vet or whatever and stuck to it. When i was 9 i wanted to be a Pro Wrestler. Age 11 it was a Marine Biologist. At one point I considered air traffic control along with doctor, astronaut, pirate (still want that one), cosmonaut, cowboy, space ranger, mascot for an american football team, childcare assistant, musician and briefly, prison guard.
I still don't know what i want out of life, and that's cool.
But i guess whatever i end up doing, wherever that may be, i would like some semblance of peace and general happiness.
I DON'T CARE THAT IT'S A CLICHE TO SAY THAT.
Second to that, i want a pair of glittery Dr martens.

If you could be any Celebrity who would it be?
I honestly can't think of a person. There are some people out there who look like their lives are the shit, or who present a really kick ass personality to "the general public" but i don't trust that it's that simple.
I know this question isn't gonna suddenly happen but i don't want to sit here and say i want to be
Tom Hardy (amazing actor, seems legit sincere, also i fancy being a bloke for a while)
and then boom, wake up in his body and life sucks.
Like what if he's allergic to eggs or some shit, i can't have that!

What talent would you love to have?
Dancing.
Like, ALL the dancing.
Or maybe fantastic marksmanship. Because that kind of doubles as a super power, and then i could be Hawkeye.

If you won the Lottery what are the first 3 things you would buy?
Pirate Ship.
Expensive Tequila.
A Holiday.

If you could have been born with any type of hair what would it be?
I always, ALWAYS wanted that 90's loose curl perm hair. Still do.

Would you live in the Country or the City and which one?
I get on fine in either but i really am a countryside-r at heart. I start to lose it if i'm in urban areas for too long.
I need cows and fields and shit.

Do you have any names chosen for you future kids? What would be your Boy and Girl choice?
I have two middle names. For a girl, May, after my grandma. And James for a boy, after my grandad. And i don't care if my future boyfriend/husband/pro-creation partner in crime has middle names picked out too. James & May, those fuckers are in. Which means if i have kids, they'll end up being the ones with 3 middle names. And i am not even sorry!

What is your clothing style, who's would you like?
My clothing style is "Ohhh, that's cool/nice/awesome, i'll buy it and wear it" I really can't pin it down.
Gwen Stefani is a goddess.
and current Miley Cyrus always seems to be wearing stuff i like.
Nicole Richie as well.

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of you life what would it be?
With no consequences.
Probably cheesecake.
Ask me tomorrow for a different answer :)

Edinburgh Baby!

I have some amazing friends.
Made evident by the events that led me to have a free 3 days in Edinburgh the other week.

Long Story Short.
If someone* offers you a free lift and 3 paid for nights in a hostel.
Don't turn it down.
Get in their car, get in their car and never look back.

*exceptions - if that someone is unsavoury or shifty lookin', in the words of MJ, do think twice.

Because my trip was so very last minute, despite the Fringe being on i didn't see any theatre. I decided to use my time to chill out. It's not that the last couple months has been manic or anything, quite the opposite, but a bit of time to check in with yo' self is always valuable and lord knows the next couple months will be crazy, so i'm logging in those chill out hours now!

I visited Holyrood Park, strolled around Edinburgh City Centre (a-lot), hit up the National Museum and managed to spend one evening with the friend who took me up there (she was visiting her sister so i was kinda dropped off and left to my own devices mostly).

Our evening out was one of the best i've had in a long time. After meeting up we left to find somewhere to eat and just as we did torrential, crazy ass rain started. Because we were wet and cold we dived into the first good looking restaurant we saw which turned out to be an amazing Italian (after an extensive google session i'm 99% it was The Patio on Hanover St.) and then we headed to Jekyll & Hyde for drinks and some free comedy. The pub is a must see if you're ever in the area, it's a Halloween lovers paradise, you have to go through a book case door to get to the loo! The comedy we saw was hilarious and because i am a walking cliche of a drama student i ended up "on stage", typical!

Anyway, before i get stupidly caught up in sharing every last detail.
I'll stop.

I had an amazing time.
And i fucking love random opportunities.
