famous for nothing

SHIRT:NEW LOOK INSPIRE DRESS:H&M SHOES:EVANS

I've posted several variations of this before but i think it's a testament to the shirts wearability that it features on BMB so much. I don't post every outfit i wear and i don't even post all the ones i really like because of time restraints or not having my camera or whatever. I guess what I'm saying is i don't mind kinda repeating myself once in a while and i hope all my lovely readers don't mind either :)

Part of my current inspo is Debbie from The Wild Thornberry's and Darlene from Rosanne. I seem to be constantly attracted to wearing plaid and having an attitude problem...
I'm also wearing my hair in plaits every night and worshipping dry shampoo for its volumising wonderfulness.
Must. Resist. Urge. To. Perm.

DRESS:ASOS CURVE SHOES:EVANS BELT:MARKET STALL

TOP:NEW LOOK SKIRT:TOPSHOP (NAILS:RIMMEL-SKY HIGH)

TOP,SHOES&BELT:EVANS SKIRT:PRIMARK (NAILS:MODELS OWN-HEDONIST)

I just thought i'd share a few uni night out outfits. The pictures are fairly typical university night out pictures and i'm not trying to be all like "ooooh look at me and all my alcohol/ciggies/awesomeness" but that is a part of my lifestyle so, yeah, hope no one is too offended :)

It's all coming to a close here now, lots of people have finished everything and moved out, i can hear suitcase wheels outside my window as we speak! I however still have two assessments, so no 3 week end of freshers binges for me! I get home on June 10th but i have no idea what i am doing with my summer yet. I've applied for a lot of residential jobs working with kids so i could be living anywhere, wish me luck with those pleeaassseeee :)

I am dreadfully sorry posts have been so sparse but it has been quite difficult, much more so than i anticipated, to keep this little gem updated. I'm going to work harder at it over the summer, time allowing, and hopefully maintain a once a week ritual next uni year :)

I hope all readers are well and happy and beautiful and things. Big Love <3

One Month Later...

TOP:ASOS CURVE SKIRT:H&M CARDI AND SHOES:PRIMARK SUNGLASSES:DOROTHY PERKINS

So for various and really not very interesting reasons it has been exactly one month since i last posted. And i just realised that the weather in my last post was sunny like this one, but don't be fooled into thinking we've had a month of pure spring, oh no, this is England my friends, that just doesn't happen (all though we are technically in a drought). I can't believe i'm making small talk on my own blog! I swear i am interesting :)

I bought this top years ago in the first ever ASOS Curve sale i raided and i have barely worn it but i'm loving the print s much i've worn it twice this week! I decided to pair it with this skirt because i've actually been living in jeans, leggings or joggers of late and i fancied a bit of a change :D
Pretty much everything else you see is standard, so i guess this is a post dedicated to my top half!

I'm currently tyring to make my blog layout a bit nicer/cooler or whatever so if it;s all a bit messy, apologies :) i'm gonna make a new header and an about me, i just have to find the time to do it between uni, life and catching up on TV, like New Girl and Spartacus Vengeance (polar opposite tv shows right??)

The Tide Is High

T-SHIRT:DOROTHY PERKINS TROUSERS:ASOS CURVE HOODY:H&M

The lighting in my room is so shocking all my pictures are rubbish at the moment, sry guyz :/ This is really a typical outfit for me at the moment. Sort of tomboy-ish? I dunno. I mean i spend 90% of my time living in my Dr. M's too and i think they have a more masculine edge. I actually really love this colour combination, the muted green/khaki with the dull burgundy of the hoody, it's all good :)

I'm seriously debating chopping all my hair off at the moment, it would just be easier and, well, easier. I've had it short before but i can't seem to get myself 100% that it's the right thing to do. It hasn't grown in a while and i'm very bored and the ends are in terrible condition from bleaching.
And what i'm really saying is: thoughts?? Let me know please!

Colour Blocking

JUMPER:NEW LOOK VEST:H&M JEANS:DOROTHY PERKINS BOOOTS:DR MARTEN

Can y'all tell i was at my grandma's, when i took these, does the brown 70's carpet give it away? :)

Bought this jumper a few weeks back, i stumbled across it looking for a large size in a different jumper. It's not something i;d normally buy, i'd admire it; but never actually get it! As a few people have hastened to tell me: this is not the most flattering of jumpers, but quite frankly, i don't give a flying fuck! I've had equally as many compliments on it and one of the girls on my course at uni even nicknamed it the Andy Warhol Jumper, apparently it reminds her of pop art which i think is pretty darn cool.

P.S.
I do own other shoes aside from my docs but A: The "these are new i want to wear then all the time" hasn't worn off and B: I took a very limited but practical selection to Grandmother's for xmas!

My Little Pony

VEST:H&M TOP:DOROTHY PERKINS JEGGINGS:EVANS SHOES:FRED PERRY

I also had my nails painted in Barry M - Mint Green with a Matte Rimmel Topcoat:

My colour scheme was all pastels today so it reminded me of My Little Pony and Carebears. Random Fact: I never owned either of those toys as a child but as a teenager i bought and then burned/tattooed/decapitated them and wore the leftovers as accessories. Hula Barbie had it the worst though...

This is pretty typical comfort outfit for me, especially the top which is a hangover/hot weather/long journey favourite! The jeggings and vest are pretty standard but the shoes, oh the shoes! They're an 8 and i'm a 9 or 10, they were on sale and i couldn't resist. 3 years later they are finally broken in, like i can wear them for a few hours as long as i don't have to walk more than 2 miles : )

Moving on, i wore this to the cinema to see Bridesmaids. Totally hilarious, i recommend it! Acting is such a huge passion of mine and although film isn't what i'd want to go into if i had the chance to act as a job it's still really inspiring to see such a strong female cast who are quite frankly gorgeous, amazing and brilliantly funny.
Rebel Wilson and Melissa McCarthy are my two new heroes!
