OOTD: Blue Dress and a Beehive

  DRESS:ASOS CURVE TIGHTS&SHOES:EVANS

Well it was less a beehive and more a subtle Snooki Poof.
Anyway, i went out last night very briefly for drinks a pizza to bid farewell to my lovely friend Lauren who departs for university on Sunday. She's not going very far away, it's less than an hour on the train to see her, but just knowing that she won't be available at short notice on random nights of the week for cups of tea and cigarettes in my back garden makes me a bit sad.
I'm watching a lot of my friends go to uni at the moment, some are just starting and some are going back for 2nd and 3rd years. It makes me feel strange, i know I'll be going in a year so it's not jealousy or anything like that, i think it's just because i always thought I'd go to school, go to college, go to uni, get a job and that would be it, done all in one lump. So now, partly through my choices, partly through other circumstances I'm watching all the people i know live out the plan i had for myself whilst i sorta just go with the flow. It doesn't scare me or upset me, it just bewilders me that i was so sure of everything I'd do and how and when and where I'd do it but yet I'm the one who's ended up taking a break from it all to just, well bum about. Funny how life turns out right?
I mean when i was 11 i wanted to be a pro wrestler.

I barely spoke about the clothes. What a fool : )
Peace Out.

  3. I've been eyeing that ASOS dress! Any tips on fitting for it? Is it true to size? Is the material clingy?

  4. thanks for the comments ladies : )

the dress fits pretty good. i bought a size 24 and i think it is pretty spot on. the problem i have with it is the shoulders and neckline are way baggy. but i think that's because i have a small bust compared to the rest of my body, the neckline would probably be fine if i had bigger boobs. Also it was tight when i sat down and "the jelly belly" expanded : ) but not uncomfortably tight in any way.
the material is lovely, not clingy at all. but it is quite warm, i didn't wear a jacket with it.
i really like it, i want it in black but they only do blue and line green : /

    hope that is helpful.

  7. That dress looks lovely, the color really suits you. Also I totally feel you on the going to school, college, then job. I definitely had always planned it like that but it is not how my life has turned out. I see my friends who have there degrees already and I am not going to lie, I am a little jealous. But I am also thankful for the choices I made and the experiences I have had. I am not where I want to be but I will get there someday. Good luck to you :)
